Milan, 21 December 2023 – Positive year, new brand identity and renewed office for the BBDO Group in Italy led by Marianna Ghirlanda, which includes the companies DLVBBDO and proximityBBDO.

2023 for BBDO was a positive year which saw the agency consolidate its position on the Italian market among the reference players. Strengthening which was certainly contributed by the confirmation of the agency’s clients and the acquisition of new ones including Salone del Mobile.Milano and Lines.

“A new brand identity and also a restyling of our headquarters in via Lanzone in Milan close a great year full of prizes, tenders won and with still many beautiful projects in the pipeline – comments a satisfied Marianna Ghirlanda, who adds – the new BBDO identity underlines even more plus our DNA as an international brand that blends with the creativity made in Italy, appreciated all over the world.”

The agency led by Marianna Ghirlanda, with ECDs Daniele Dionisi, Serena Di Bruno and Sara Portello, also acquired the campaign project for the global launch of the new Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid and Z7 Hybrid hybrid range following the tender. Among the new acquisitions worth mentioning is the one with Salone del Mobile.Milano. The collaboration with the Fater Group has expanded: the Lines brand has also been added to the existing collaboration with the ACE brand. Among the reconfirmations, the creative agency proximityBBDO was renamed by Porsche Italia, again following a tender, as a communication partner.

Among the numerous awards obtained in 2023 we mention the many won by “The Sign Dance”, the campaign for the National Deaf Organization, which achieved, among others, the Grand Prix and three Golds (Charity, Digital, Small Budget) at the Impact Awards, two Golds at the Effie Awards (Positive Change and Engaged Community) and Gold at the Adce Awards 2023, the prize of the European Art Directors Clubs. Awards also for the “Make Italy Green – The Floating Boat” campaign created for E.ON Energia, including Gold for L’Italia che comunica – the award promoted by UNA – in the integrated campaigns category, and for the “Dreamers” project On” created by proximityBBDO for Porsche. Recognition also for the project “This is a Disease” created for Amici della mente OdV and winner, among other things, of a Gold at the 2023 ADCI Awards.
